Microsoft Dynamics is a line of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) software applications. Microsoft markets Dynamics applications through a network of reselling partners who provide specialized services. Microsoft Dynamics forms part of "Microsoft Business Solutions". Dynamics can be used with other Microsoft programs and services, such as SharePoint, Yammer, Office 365, Azure and Outlook. The Microsoft Dynamics focus-industries are retail, services, manufacturing, financial services, and the public sector. Microsoft Dynamics offers services for small, medium, and large businesses.

Maureen Olstad mentioned, "Here are my list of problems using Microsoft Dynamics 365. Reporting - you cannot select more than 10,000 records. I don't know if this is the first 10k, the last 10k or some random sampling. What happens when you need to review 90k records? We were forced to use an OData connector with an open CRM session to pull data into Excel. Works, but you cannot automate and it is not sustainable. Forced upgrades break existing functionality - this includes a connector to Pardot (our marketing automation tool), CRM no longer supports Windows XP and Office 2003 so new computers need to be purchased for sales managers . Previous upgrades broke java script functionality that had been built into CRM. Although we pay for a test environment, there is not always an opportunity to upgrade that environment prior to the live system and resolve issues without affecting sales reps and customer service. Communication - CRM Dynamics experienced an outage for 3 hours this week. I received FOUR emails telling me that they had resolved the issue. It would have been good to have received ONE email telling me the system was down and they were working to resolved the issue."

Former Employee - Senior Dynamics Solution Specialist says

"Highly political, unrealistic quotas, uninspiring leaders, no App Store and limited relevant partner eco system. Not a nimble organization and under appreciated group."

Current Employee - Dynamics 365 Consultant says

"salary, culture, work life balance"

Current Employee - Senior Dynamics CRM Consultant says

"Work life balance has been worse than running my own company. A lot of ego's get in the way of team work and what is best for the customer. Just put the ego aside and the possibilities are endless!"

Technical Writer (Former Employee) says

"The company WAS good, but declined rapidly. Many promises were made by management, but few materialized. My VP was outstanding, unfortunately I can't say that about the rest. (My initial supervisors were fired for incompetence.) C-Level lacked vision for future needs. The poorly planned and poorly executed sale left people without paychecks.Flexible scheduling, excellent peers, great IT support.C-Level lack vision and forward thinking initiatives."
